Primitive Skills Gathering Victoria AustraliaThis is a gathering for past Wolf Pack participants, Rewilding Enthusiasts, Nature Lovers & Primitive Skills peeps.

Please note, all workshops are on hold during new development of Hidden Valley Farm, but stay tuned for more workshop announcements coming soon. In the meantime, check out our latest event – THE OFF-GRID LIVING FESTIVAL.

At Hidden Valley Farm, Eldorado, Victoria (3 hours from both Melbourne & Canberra)

The Primitive Skills Gathering is a time and place for skilled (enthusiastic beginners also welcome) re-wilders to come together, take time out, slow down, practice their crafts, share-skills, create their own tribe, form long-lasting connections and enjoy the natural surrounds and resources that the Hidden Valley has to offer.

WHAT IS ON OFFER:

We invite you to use our place as YOUR PLAY SPACE for one week.

Unlike other Creative Collectives events this gathering is shaped by the participants. You will come together as a new tribe and it will be up to you to design your week. All Hidden Valley resources will be available to you: 20 gorgeous acres surrounded by National Park, camping area with outdoor shower& composting loo, kitchen caravan (although open fire cooking may be preferred) and the massive 8m tipi. There are many roles you can take on and many experiences you can create together, as an experienced rewilding group this will be a magical time for inspiration and connection.

  • 7 days camping onsite
  • Gathering with a unique rewilding tribe from all walks of life
  • Time to hone your skills, enjoy nature and your community
  • Adventures, challenges and local excursions
  • Lasting connections with like-minded people

Primitive Skills Rewilding Events Australia

DESIGN YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE: The first day will be led by Creative Collectives events facilitator Kate Marsh, to help you come together as a tribe and find out what each person wants to get out of the week. From there you will have the opportunity to design your own experience. This may include a skill-sharing timetable, offerings, group adventures, challenges, local excursions, cooking roster (food provided and cooked  by participants as they please), solo time and fire-side fun.

HONE & REFINE SKILLS: With time and experience companions individuals may enjoy their own time during the week to hone in on a particular skill they’ve wanted to master or refine old skills. This will be a great opportunity to learn from others in the group and take the time needed to reach that next step.

1111COMMUNITY: Some participants may come along simply to share time with like-minded people. The rewilding journey can often be a lonely road, but with more and more interest and uniquely skilled individuals ‘coming out of the woods’ daily this will be an amazing opportunity to share time with your true tribe. This will be a regular event where you can reconnect and we foresee some very long-lasting connections coming out of it, as well as lots of new ideas coming into fruition as great minds collide.

WHO IS THE GATHERING FOR:

  • Past participants and teachers of Wolf Pack
  • People proficient in primitive skills, nature connection or re-wilding of any kind. You don’t have to be a pro, just on a rewilding journey of some kind.
  • Community minded people who love to share and create tribal camaraderie
